Documented
- The copy headed Combination at Exeter, 1639, lists George Walton among the signers and dates the instrument Mo. 5, 4, 1639. It does not name a ship, a birthplace, a wife, or a trade. It does not say he is the Geo. Walton claimed by Alexander Stonar in 1635. The 1640 manuscript was not opened. Thorpe's text prints Mo. 8. D. 4. 1639 and does not list the signers, so the name rests on Hazlett's copy.
