Hazlett's 1915 copy of the Exeter combination names George Walton among the signers and dates the copy Mo. 5, 4, 1639. The month numeral is not converted. Thorpe's text, on the Avalon Project, prints Mo. 8. D. 4. 1639 and does not list the signers. The copy does not name a ship, an English parish, or a trade. He is not matched to Geo. Walton in Alexander Stonar's 1635 Virginia patent.
