Passage read

Grant to William son and heir of Richard de Waleton of a third part of the manor of Hale, which the king recovered against his father by default by judgement of Hugh de Cressingham and his fellows, justices in eyre at York, as appears by a record of the justices; to hold in like manner as his father Richard did, saving the right of the king and any other.

Reading of the Internet Archive text of the printed calendar. The original patent roll was not opened. The grant is a third of Hale. It does not mention the fourteen bovates, Walton, Wavertree, or Newsham, and it does not identify this William with the William who died in 1322.
