Nugent's abstract of the patent to Mr. Richard Webley, Robt. Davis, and Thomas Freshwater, 24 August 1664, Patent Book 4, page 106 (603), names Rowland Walton among the people claimed for 7,221 acres in Rappahannock and Northumberland counties. The same list also names Rebecca Wotton. That spelling was left as written and was not made a second Walton.
