Nugent's abstract of John Laydon's patent, Warwick River County, 6 May 1636, Patent Book 1, page 345, names Robt. Walton in the transportation list. The abstract says four persons and prints five names. This import does not drop a name to force the count. The same Laydon series, on 6 March 1636, names Wm. Welbon (or Welton); that spelling is not treated as Walton.
