Jon. Walton · Hen. Soanes patent, 10 March 1653

View in graph

Nugent's abstract of Hen. Soanes's patent, 10 March 1653 as printed, Patent Book 3, page 27, names Jon. Walton with Robt. Ellyson, Wm. Morgan, and Danll. Whitby for 200 acres in Gloucester County on the Mattapony. A 25 March 1656 patent to Mr. Henry Soanes recites a patent of 10 March 1653 and prints those four names again. That is one credit. He is not matched to Jon. Walton in John Broche's 1637 list.

Recorded as Jon. Walton; Jno. Walton.
